What the role is

The Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children, families and vulnerable adults. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect and offending. As part of the RPG family, the Adult Protective Service (APS) is a statutory service that leads in the policies and processes to safeguard the safety and well-being of individuals, families and vulnerable adults experiencing violence, abuse or neglect.

What you will be working on

Brief description of Job Scope: As part of the Sector Operations team, you will spearhead the development and implementation of domestic violence intervention framework, integrated practice model and integrated practice guide. Together with the team, you will oversee the implementation, review and evaluation of assessment tools used by the Protective Service and sector. You will work closely with various stakeholders involved in protective and domestic violence work. Responsibilities: As a Manager/ Assistant Manager, you will: • Partner with the consultants to develop and review the protective assessment tools. • Design an implementation plan for the protective assessment tools, intervention framework and practice guide across multiple sectors. • Lead project management to ensure timely development, review and implementation • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and review operational processes for assessment tools, intervention framework and integrated practice guide. • Analyse domestic violence trends, needs and challenges through data and ground feedback to inform service enhancements • Coordinate staff and internal resources, including leading secretariat support for workgroups • Fulfil any other duties as required by the Division

What we are looking for

Requirements: • Experience in stakeholder engagement, programme development and implementation • Knowledge of the social service sector, specifically in domestic violence and protective work, will be an added advantage • Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills • Strong written and project management skills • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders • Driven, self-motivated and able to multitask
