What the role is
What you will be working on
As Assistant General Manager, Regional Services, you will assist the General Manager to manage a team in strengthening the social service eco-system at the regional level and in delivering more integrated and coordinated help for residents in need.
What we are looking for
Lead the team to map out community assets and needs; and to identify gaps in service delivery through needs analysis
- Partner with stakeholders in the community to optimize the allocation of resources for social services in the community and to develop services in the SSO region and work with the various service providers to coordinate the delivery of social services (e.g. rough sleepers, hoarders, persons with mental health issues)
- Lead the team to strategise, develop and strengthen relationships with community agencies
- Lead the team to conduct service management of MSF-funded programmes in the SSO region
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Regional Service team.
- Oversee the implementation of the ComLink initiative - ComLink provides integrated care to the families with young children in rental flats, by working closely with community or corporate partners as well as individual volunteers. The SSO will also work with these partners to curate specific programmes that would meet the needs of these families.
To meet the challenges of this role, you should possess:
Functional/Technical Competencies
- At least 8 years of experience in the social service sector, with supervisory experience
- Social work knowledge or related experience in social service settings will be beneficial

- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with strong aptitude in relating with different stakeholders
- Strong facilitation and engagement skills
