What you will be working on

Supporting CED full-time officers in the: 1. Daily monitoring for MDDI-related issues 2. Draft press releases, media replies, media invites, collation of media RSVPs, engagement of media for pitching purposes, staffing of media event 3. Proposing responses to MDDI-related issues where required 4. Support and coordinate on administrative details of events and meetings to be attended by Political Office Holders 5. Provide staff support on site at for events/meetings 6. Any other ad-hoc duties that the division may require.

What we are looking for

(Please indicate your period of availability in your resume.) Applicants who are able for 6 months: 1. Commit Full time 5 - day work week or if Part-time (commit to at least a 3 day work week (28.5h in total in a week, each session to minimally clock in 4h) 2. Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders (e.g. speaking to colleagues from other Divisions and media reporters) to achieve desired comms outcomes 3. Good command of English 4.
