As an Engineer or Senior Engineer at Planning, Development & Corporate Services Division, you will be part of the team responsible for the planning and corporate matters. Your responsibilities may include the following:

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Planning matters for water reclamation plant (WRP) and NEWater plants to ensure that their capacities to ensure that their capacities are adequate to meet projected flow, industrial water and NEWater projected requirement.
• Review impact of any change in policy or change in used water characteristics on operation of both WRPs and NEWater plants.
• Review external agencies’ consultations on development works that affects WRPs and work with plants to ensure that WRPs and effluent outfall pipes are well safeguarded;
• Assist on corporate matters for the department such as land matters, budget matters and sustainability matters.
What we are looking for
• Degree in Environmental or Chemical engineering or equivalent
• Preferably have knowledge on used water treatment or NEWater production
• At least 3-5 years of working experience
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
