What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
Verify the accuracy of energy use and GHG emissions reports submitted by industrial facilities
Plan and conduct field inspections to assess compliance with regulatory requirements
Document findings after each inspection and follow up with industrial facilities to address compliance issues
Analyse energy performance and GHG emissions trends of industrial facilities and present findings to companies’ management
Share best practices to improve energy efficiency and reduce GHG emissions with industrial facilities
Liaise with industrial facilities to address queries, and assist them in the submission process for regulatory requirements
What we are looking for
Diploma in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering
At least 10 years of working experience in an industrial plant or a regulatory enforcement role
Prior working experience in implementing energy management system or energy efficiency improvement/carbon mitigation projects would be advantageous
Highly self-motivated, independent, and resourceful
Meticulous with an eye for detail
Organised and able to multi-task
Good team player and strong interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
