The exhibitions department is looking for a project assistant for the work creation of public art and installations for the upcoming New Science Centre.

What the role is
What you will be working on
- Sourcing for possible artists and specialist fabricators.
- Presentation of possible artists and specialist fabricators portfolios to the team for team’s consideration.
- Scheduling of meetings with potential artists and specialist fabricators.
- Follow up on meetings and keeping track of work progress with artists and specialist fabricators.
- Taking of meeting minutes.
What we are looking for
- Diploma/ Undergraduate in a related field.
- Resourceful, self-motivated and independent worker.
- Experience in project management.
- Some interest and/ or experience in public installations/ art will be beneficial.
- Able to commit 6 months and 20 hours per week of which the following days and times are mandatory:
Monday: 2PM to 4PM (2 hours)
Thursday: 10AM to 12noon (2 hours)
The hired project assistant will have the flexibility to fulfil the remaining 16 hours over the rest of the week (Monday to Friday).
