What the role is

The Corporate Marketing and Communications Division at Workforce Singapore (WSG) is looking for a digital native to join the Corporate Marketing team, to craft stories that the internet loves, bringing WSG’s narrative in helping Singaporeans to jobs come to life on this dynamic, fast moving environment. The ideal candidate is idea-full and empathetic, well plugged into social media and what’s happening in the employment landscape. Come help us make stories that will resonate with different audience segments, compelling them to want to engage with WSG and make a change in their employment journeys. You will work with multiple stakeholders both external and internal stakeholders in the development of your content. You may also be tasked to follow up and support community management work on WSG’s social media platforms.

What you will be working on

This is your key area of work. You will: 1) Content Development & Production • Produce content in consultation with business divisions, partners, companies and internal stakeholders, across a variety of formats including videos, images, infographics, for social media, website, or the digital environment • Work with the Principal Manager to propose, plan and develop a social media content calendar to promote WSG’s programmes and services and proposing measurement metrics to monitor the performance of the content • Ensure content produced is visually attractive, clear in conveying the intended message, interesting and engaging • Experiment with new media, formats, styles and modalities to produce or deliver content 2) Social Media Management • Curate content that aligns with social media strategy, monitor social media sentiments and translating that to execution that brings about engagement KPIs • Help stakeholders understand and appreciate the requirements, effectiveness and traits of different social media platforms • Keep up to date on new technologies or social media usage, to make recommendations on how to communicate messages and information, or produce eye-catching, engaging content.

What we are looking for

• Experience in digital media, communications, or related disciplines • Digital native familiar with social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Discord, BeReal, etc • Avid social producer with a good social media presence Knowledge • Good understanding and ability to read and use performance analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and other social media analytics platforms. Skills • Proficient in video editing software, and graphic design and editing software • Good copywriting and editing skills with the ability to turn complex source materials into sharp, engaging multimedia content with snappy social-first copy and trendy captions.
