The job-holder assists Assistant Director (Ops Logistics) in building up the operational logistics excellence and preparedness of the Home Team Departments (HTDs). The job holder also assists in coordinating within the Home Team Logs Departments, Home Front Agencies and other government ministries for the acquisition/planning of MHA wide logistics support for operations. In addition, he is responsible to coordinate and ensure the readiness and preparedness of the critical logistics resources that cut across the HTDs e.g. food, N95 mask and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) etc for the sustenance of the HTDs’ operations. Job-holder should be competent in operations planning and be familiar with operational procedures.

The job-holder is expected to: • Maintain high level awareness of Home Team Logistics Department logistics support plans and logistical requirements; • Review support plans and identify areas for mutual support and collaboration; • Coordinate and develop cross-agency logistics support plans with HTD Logs Depts and its key strategic partners • Pan logistical requirements/preparations to ensure continuous logistics supplies for sustained periods of operations; • Coordinate and collate the key logistics support requirement from the HTDs and liaise with various Ministries to plan for such supplies during emergencies; • Establish common set of logistics support SOP procedures; • Coordinate and ensure key strategic vendors are ready to respond and sustain HTDs for operations; • Oversee Home Team Logs Departments formulation and promulgation of operational logistics methodology and procedures, including lessons learnt on logistics related matters from exercises/events/operations deployment; • Review and extract best practices for knowledge sharing and discussion

• 4-5 years working experience in logistics related areas; • Experience in provision of field logistics support to operations; • Knowledge and experience on Project and Contract Management; • Familiar with demand aggregation activities; • Has keen interest in developing knowledge on logistics matters; • Has excellent organizational and analytical skills; and • Excellent communication skills
