What the role is

NParks is the national authority for plant health for Singapore and a signatory of the International Plant Protection Convention to protect international trade from plant pests. The role of the Executive/Administration is to provide administration for phytosanitary certification and import regulation to facilitate trade of plants and plant products.

What you will be working on

  • Process phytosanitary certificate applications

  • Perform verification checks via call or email communication with applicants to ensure all mandatory fields are correct

  • Attend to customers during collection of phytosanitary certificates, including applicants’ request for amendment/replacement of phytosanitary certificates

  • Print phytosanitary certificates

  • Attend to customer inquiries via telephone and walk-in customers at the counter

  • Submit daily summary of inspection fee

  • Compile monthly reports and statistics

  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor

  • Capable of dealing with demanding customers

  • Knowledge of MS Office applications

Successful candidate will be offered an 11-month employment contract. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
