What the role is

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Learning & Development (L&D) Professional to join our Academy team. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will play a key role in reviewing and implementing L&D policies, managing career development initiatives, and supporting digitalisation projects to enhance work processes.

What you will be working on

  • Policies and Frameworks: Draft policy papers, proposal and reports effectively.  Plan, implement and review strategic and key initiatives, policies, schemes, frameworks, and programmes to support professional growth and competency development.
  • Industry Attachments & Engagements: Facilitate industry attachment programmes and engagements to maintain staff industry currency.
  • Digitalisation & Process Improvement: Manage Workday HR system as a Learning Partner and support digitalisation initiatives and regularly review L&D work processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Professional Development Schemes: Coordinate and manage administrative processes for professional development schemes, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant L&D Experience: At least 3 years of experience in learning and development, HR, or the public sector, with expertise in planning, policy review and workforce upskilling
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and implement L&D projects efficiently.
  • Data & Digital Fluency: Strong data analytics skills and proficiency in digital tools (ie. Microsoft Office applications and Workday HR systems) to analyse learning data and improve L&D effectiveness.
  • Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and solution-oriented approach to process improvement.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for designing engaging and informative presentations.
  • Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
