The interns will work on 1 to 2 application/model development projects, and/or data engineering work. The interns will be given opportunities to: • Understand the landscape of data science and AI in IRAS • Engage business users to understand their needs and requirements • Develop/enhance applications/models based on user requirements • Build data pipelines to meet users/applications needs • Present their projects at key management meetings

• Strong foundation in software engineering and/or machine learning and/or big data technologies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Good self-management skills, including an ability to be self-directed to meet project deadlines The internship will be for a period of 20 weeks from Jun to Dec 2025.

Our Mission: • Act as an agent of the Government and provide service in administering, assessing, collecting and enforcing payment of taxes • Advise the Government and represent Singapore internationally on matters relating to taxation
