The Global Office (GO) team oversees the coordination of government-to-government youth relations and provides youth leaders with opportunities for representation at international and regional platforms. It also oversees the Asia-Ready Exposure Programme (AEP) which empower youth to be Asia-ready by providing broad-base opportunities for meaningful exposure to ASEAN member states, China and India (ACI), and strengthening their competencies in building friendships and networks within the region. Through the various programmes and platforms, GO supports NYC’s thrust in developing outstanding youth with informed perspectives, awareness of global and regional issues, and a heart for Singapore.
As the Assistant Director (Global Office), you will support the Deputy Director in leading and overseeing a team that spearheads, manages, promotes, and facilitates overseas youth leadership programmes and broad-based engagements for youth in Singapore. You will also help cultivate and coordinate Government-to-Government matters on youth development, supporting NYC's role as the national youth focal point on regional platforms.
