In this role, you are part of the public relations (PR) and engagement team who will develop PR strategies as well as manage PR and corporate communications initiatives, including the engagement of strategic stakeholders to maintain top-of-mind brand recall and raise awareness of the museum’s offerings with their communities. You will also support the National Museum in cultivating international relations with its strategic partners.

Responsibilities
- Plan, create and implement PR campaigns with the goal of raising awareness and appreciation of the museum, its exhibitions, programmes and other initiatives. This includes media engagement, media previews, community engagement tours, profiling opportunities etc.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with media and content creators, keeping their interest in promoting the museum and its initiatives among their communities.
- Develop and cultivate good working relationships between the National Museum and its international partners. This includes planning, management and organisation of meetings and official visits in relation to the portfolio, as well as updating country cultural briefs and other documents as required.
- Manage and coordinate stakeholder engagement events.
Requirements
- Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in public relations, media management and/or integrated marketing
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
- Good track record in media and stakeholder management
- Good practical knowledge of Adobe Suite Design Programs, Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred
- Interest in the Arts and Heritage Sector
- Experience in project management and government procurement will be advantageous
