As an Engineer for the Catchment and Waterways Department’s Drainage Operations division, your main roles and responsibilities would include but not limited to:
1. Develop and implement the Department's engagement plans to build flood resilience within communities, considering the impact of climate change.
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen community partnerships and develop educational resources on flood awareness, acceptance and preparedness.
3. Support public engagement efforts to strengthen flood resilience within the community
4. Prepare and coordinate responses to flood-related media inquiries and interviews, as well as flood engagement strategies.
5. Plan and prepare for annual Monsoon Communications.
