Join the JSID team in SSG that develop and disseminate Jobs-Skills Insights to stakeholders to support decision-making on jobs and skills matters • Engage stakeholders to understand their needs and how Jobs-Skills Insights can serve to address • Conduct big data analysis and research on in-demand, emerging and future jobs and skills, tapping on business, labour and market intelligence and the National Jobs-Skills Intelligence (NJSI) engine • Synthesize insights and validate with stakeholders such as innovation-led enterprises and experts • Disseminate Jobs-Skills Insights via omni-channels and formats to maximise outreach and adoption We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Content Writer to join our Jobs-Skills Insights Division. The ideal candidate will create compelling, accurate, and engaging content related to skills development and career health. This role requires crafting clear, informative content while maintaining high editorial standards and ensuring alignment with SkillsFuture Singapore's objectives.

What you will be working on

Content Development & Writing: • Develop high-quality written content for various platforms, including web articles, guides, and promotional materials focused on jobs and skills content found in the Jobs-Skills Portal • Transform complex information about jobs and skills, including industry trends, skills frameworks, career pathways, and training programmes into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences • Create engaging headlines, meta descriptions, and SEO-optimised content Research & Collaboration: • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, job roles, and skills requirements to ensure content accuracy • Collaborate with subject matter experts to verify technical information and maintain content integrity • Work closely with digital teams to optimise content for various platforms and channels Editorial Standards & Quality Assurance: • Perform meticulous copyediting to ensure all materials meet editorial standards and style guidelines • Review and update existing content to maintain relevance and accuracy • Ensure content is aligned with government communication guidelines and web accessibility standards

What we are looking for

• The required competencies to execute the job duties proficiently • Experience in content writing, preferably in education, career guidance, skills, or workforce development • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation • Excellent command of written and spoken English • Proven ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content • Strong research and fact-checking skills • Meticulous attention to detail and high editorial standards • Experience with content management systems • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines • Understanding of the Singapore skills framework and SkillsFuture initiatives preferred • Familiarity with government communication guidelines • Experience in creating content for different platforms and audiences • Knowledge of web accessibility standards • Basic understanding of HTML and digital content formatting Candidates are encouraged to sign up for a Careers & Skills Passport (CSP) account and include your CSP public profile in your resume. About SkillsFuture Singapore

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Education (MOE). It will drive and coordinate the implementation of the national SkillsFuture movement, promote a culture and holistic system of lifelong learning through the pursuit of skills mastery, and strengthen the ecosystem of quality education and training in Singapore. SSG will strengthen the adult training infrastructure by taking on all existing functions of the Committee for Private Education (CPE) and guide the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) to enhance the capabilities and professionalism of adult educators. SSG will play a key role in the quality assurance for private education institutions and adult training centres. Together with educational institutions and training partners, SSG will ensure that students and working adults have access to high quality, industry-relevant training throughout life. SSG will also bring together synergies in continuing education and training (CET) and pre-employment training (PET), so skills requirements will continue to meet the demands of different sectors of the economy.
