What you will be working on

You will be part of the IA team in providing assurance services to MOT-HQ and agencies within the MOT Ministry Family. Your responsibilities will involve working with multiple stakeholders to conduct internal audit assignments, strengthen corporate and financial governance, as well as driving transformation initiatives within the MOT Family and/or Whole of Government. Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop risk-based audit plans that align with MOT’s strategic objectives and risk profile • Plan, execute and complete audits in accordance with approved audit plans, ensuring adherence to established timelines and schedules • Explore and implement IT and data analytic tools to enhance audit quality and effectiveness • Report audit findings and provide actionable recommendations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and operational effectiveness • Procure, monitor and manage any outsourced internal audit services effectively and efficiently • Provide secretariat support to MOT Audit Committee/agency level as required • Provide advisory and consulting services on internal controls, systems and processes to MOT management • Participate and implement any internal audit transformation initiatives adopted by MOT Family and/or Whole of Government • Perform any other related work as required

What we are looking for

Functional/Technical Competencies: • Relevant experience in Accountancy, Business or related disciplines is preferred • Professional qualifications such as CA / CIA is preferred • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience in Finance, Accounting and Information Technology/ systems related areas • Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment, internal controls and adoption of IT and data analytic tools Generic Competencies • Strong analytical skills, resourceful, meticulous and a team player • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to collaborate and interact with management at all levels
