What the role is
The Digital Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that NCSS' web and social media presence is engaging, relevant, and aligned with the company's objectives and goals. The incumbent should be a creative self-starter, comfortable working in a dynamic environment, and able to balance competing demands. The role requires strong technical skills, marketing expertise, and a customer-focused mindset.
What you will be working on
• Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
• Manage NCSS' social media presence across various platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
• Create and curate engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, and videos.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing communications and strategic communications teams, to ensure social media activities align with the NCSS' objectives and goals.
• Manage the company's appointed digital marketing agency and collaborate with them to develop and execute social media campaigns.
• Monitor social media analytics to measure and report on the performance of social media activities, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
• Manage social media advertising campaigns, including targeting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
• Engage with the NCSS’ social media followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up to date with emerging social media trends and make recommendations for their implementation where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain relationships with social media influencers and other relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor website analytics to measure and report on the website's performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
• Optimise SEO and implement SEM and oversee the media buys and budget to ensure digital communication through the website and NCSS owned Social Media platforms are aligned to NCSS objectives.
• Align to WOG indicators and industry benchmarks and conduct data analysis and evaluation of different NCSS’ owned digital channels.
• Review and update processes and systems to ensure they are efficient and effective.
• Manage the company's website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and accessible.
• Monitor website performance using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with the company's digital marketing agency to develop and execute website campaigns.
• Stay up to date with emerging web design and development trends and make recommendations for their implementation where appropriate
• Lead projects and assignments as and when needed. Perform duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices

•Knowledge of website analytics tools such Web analytic tools such as Google Analytics (GA4)
• Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what type of content target segments consume.
Experience & Special Certification(s):
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in web management and/or digital marketing
• Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role
• Experience creating and curating engaging social media content, including posts, stories, and videos.
• Experience managing a digital marketing agency.
