What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Transformation Team in MND’s Corporate Development Division, working across multiple teams including HR, IT and Corporate Resources to drive organisational excellence for the MND Family.
Your primary job responsibilities are to:
- Lead strategic reviews which ensure that MND HQ’s organisation and job structure is responsive to our shifting business priorities and align the associated manpower resourcing strategies at the organisation and Division-level accordingly.
- Formulate policies and solutions pertaining to organisation design, job grading and evaluation based on critical analysis of MND’s business needs and internal practices. This will require the jobholder to develop deep expertise and specialist knowledge in these areas, to engage and advise Senior Management.
- Establish a framework to govern the management and deployment of positions within MND HQ, develop and implement policies to ensure proper governance on the use of positions while enabling flexibility in their deployment.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with strong drive, the ability to think strategically and analytically, is open to new ways of thinking and has the perseverance to push boundaries.
You should preferably possess:
- At least 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in policy development or related HR domain areas such as organisation design, job grading and evaluation.
- Ability to advise and take the lead on holistic HR policy reviews involving interrelated HR policies and processes, while considering potential implementation issues.
- Strong command of written and spoken English, as well as the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders across various levels.
Competencies Required
- Ability to design and conduct organisational diagnosis and strategic visioning with stakeholders to assess and analyse current state and needs.
- Ability to integrated business needs across different job grades to develop the proposed organisation and job structure.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, or other applications that will enable the team to monitor, track and analyse associated data.
