In this new role, you will support the Deputy Director in bringing innovative engagement strategies to life. These could include engagement programmes for the general public, youths, schools, businesses and organisations. Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and engaging key stakeholders, including general public, youths, schools, businesses and organisations.
- Develop and implement public engagement and outreach strategies, as well as programmes and initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
- Lead the planning and execution of outreach events, workshops, and campaigns targeted at key stakeholder groups, ensuring they are informative and engaging.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and engagement.
- Develop and disseminate engaging communication materials, such as presentations, brochures, and social media content.
- Coordinate logistics and administrative tasks related to outreach activities.
- Collect and organise data on stakeholder feedback and programme participation. Assist in analysing data to evaluate the effectiveness of engagement activities.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in public and stakeholder engagement, youth engagement and/or programme management.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to drive initiatives from conceptualisation to implementation, including being comfortable with managing multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently.
- Ability to engage and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and build rapport with diverse stakeholders across all levels.
- Familiar with emerging engagement trends and adept at leveraging digital tools to enhance outreach and audience connection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; resourceful and adaptable.
- Able to commit to stakeholder engagement activities on weekday evenings or weekends, if required.
