What the role is

Project Titles: The Cybersecurity Services Sector in Singapore and, Benchmarking of Singapore’s cybersecurity regulations

What you will be working on

For the project titled “The Cybersecurity Services Sector in Singapore”, the intern will be conducting market research on the cybersecurity companies in Singapore, including companies involved in incident response, threat intelligence, cybersecurity risk assessments, cybersecurity audits and those performing patching and maintenance of systems. The intern will also design and compile a database, to incorporate information garnered from the research. For the project titled “Benchmarking of Singapore’s cybersecurity regulations”, the intern will conduct research into the cybersecurity regulations of leading jurisdictions so as to understand the similarities and the differences with Singapore’s cybersecurity regulations. The intern will also put up a deck of slides on the findings, which will be used for outreach purposes (for e.g.when introducing Singapore’s cybersecurity regulations to external stakeholders).

What we are looking for

- Internship applicants from any faculty/degree of study, although subject knowledge in the field of cybersecurity is preferred. - Must have good verbal, writing and organisational skills, and is able to grasp concepts easily. - Interns who can join from May 2025 onwards (3 months minimum commitment).
