We champion the growth and development of Singapore's Visual Arts sector, which encompasses a rich spectrum of artistic expressions and interactions across multiple players - from individual artists and curators to cultural institutions and organisations, both non-profit and commercial. Through comprehensive grant schemes, we support the creation and presentation of exhibitions, strengthen capability development for visual arts practitioners and organisations, and enhance market and audience development and research. Our division spearheads the annual Singapore Art Week, the region's pinnacle visual arts festival, and advocates for public art and best practices through the Public Art Trust. Through our collaboration with this diverse and vibrant visual arts ecosystem, we strive to increase public engagement and appreciation for the visual arts.
[What you will be working on]
Support financial planning and budget management processes
Assess and process applications across multiple schemes (including grants and arts housing subsidies)
Support end-to-end grant administration, including coordinating with stakeholders, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements
Support procurement governance and processes, support team members while maintaining compliance with government procurement policies
Support knowledge management and administrative operations to enable team effectiveness
[What we are looking for]
Good university degree (preferably arts related)
Analytical skills with demonstrated ability to assess applications and manage budgets
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records while handling multiple priorities
Good understanding of procurement practices and financial management principles will be advantageous
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Experience in arts/culture sector would be an advantage
