What the role is

To fulfil the objectives of M3 by ensuring volunteers and beneficiaries are well-connected, and to strengthen policies from five M3 focus areas through active on-the-ground interaction using strategies supported by data. The incumbent should also focus on strategies for volunteer recruitment and retention.

  • Implements volunteer recruitment, engagement and retention strategies to build and maintain a strong pool of M3 volunteers across all M3@Towns.

  • Coordinates volunteer deployment for Project Dian programmes at M3@Towns, ensuring effective matching, tracking and scheduling of volunteers for meaningful engagement with beneficiaries.

  • Works with training providers to develop and implement structured volunteer training programmes and orientation sessions to enhance volunteer capabilities.

  • Organises volunteer recognition, capability building sessions and networking platforms to maintain volunteer motivation and strengthen bonds between volunteers and Project Dian families.

  • Manages volunteer database and tracking systems to monitor volunteer participation, engagement levels and programme effectiveness across M3 initiatives

  • Works closely with M3@Towns officers and stakeholders to support volunteer retention and ensure consistent deployment approaches across locations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by senior officers.

Knowledge & Skills


Minimum : Significant extracurricular involvement and/or leadership and organising community programmes/projects
Desired : Experience working with volunteers, Grassroots Organisations, M³ agencies, Malay/Muslim Organisations, social service sector

- Enjoys working with volunteers and people.
- Able to work on weekday nights and weekends to attend house visits, meetings, programmes and other work-related duties and responsibilities.
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
