What the role is
The Finance and Facilities Division (FFD) oversees the Ministry’s financial matters, procurement management and facilities development and management. FFD ensures proper stewardship of the Ministry’s resources through the implementation of best practices across all functions.
The Finance Branch delivers financial stewardship and partnership by optimising resource allocation and management whilst maintaining sound financial administration. The Financial Governance Team develops and oversees governance policies to ensure both effectiveness and compliance with financial controls and grant governance requirements.
What you will be working on
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to join the Financial Governance Team. The role requires applying governance and risk management concepts to develop governance policies and partner MSF’s divisions in managing grants in accordance with the Instruction Manual on Grant Governance.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be involved in implementing and maintaining grant governance standards in MSF through policy development, staff training and data analytics, as well as oversee governance standards of MSF’s Companies Limited by Guarantee (CLG). You will coach and lead the team in improving governance across MSF by working with divisions and CLGs to:
• Develop and review governance frameworks, processes, and systems to meet specific targets and timelines.
• Lead and support data analytics initiatives to address risk management, fraud detection, investigation, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee and collaborate with MSF divisions to implement programme evaluation plans, improve accountability and achievement of programme objectives are achieved.
What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualification with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Comprehensive understanding of governance and risk management concepts
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with excellent problem-solving abilities
