What the role is

Assistant Manager, Business Planning & Development (Integrated Developments)

What you will be working on

  • Plan and execute adaptive reuse of State land and properties before they are slated for long term developments.

  • Rejuvenate portfolio properties by engaging market players to explore new uses.

  • Work with other agencies and business partners for potential collaboration on strategic properties and projects.

  • Specifically, support the division and appointed agents in the planning and implementation of leasing strategies and tenant mix for the properties under his/her portfolio.

  • Assist to formulate and implement retail concepts and target prospective tenants.

  • Assist in prospecting/leasing of spaces and conduct viewings of available space.

  • Monitor current and future vacancies to ensure full occupancy of the development(s).

  • Work with relevant divisions and appointed managing agent(s) to meet tenants’ needs and drive traffic to the development(s).

What we are looking for

  • Background in Real Estate, Urban Studies, Business, Marketing or other related disciplines.

  • Minimally 2 to 5 years of retail and commercial leasing experience in a large mixed-use development or shopping mall.

  • Good understanding of the retail industry and trends.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Possess positive disposition, a team player and resourceful.

  • Ability to multi-task, an eye for details and work within timeline.

  • Relevant experience in managing advertising and promotions for retail malls/integrated developments will be a plus.
