What the role is
What you will be working on
As the overall project lead within SLA's Strategy & Innovation department’s Underground Systems and Governance team, you will spearhead a critical initiative to pilot the transformation of Singapore's underground utility mapping ecosystem.
You will lead a team to (i) pilot the development of a utility survey submission platform through an iterative design and collaborative arrangement with key stakeholders across infrastructure and environment cluster agencies and assigned system developers, while (ii) establishing new survey governance frameworks that align with SLA's role as the National Survey and Mapping authority.
The role requires (i) strong leadership skills in coordinating cross-agency efforts, (ii) driving changes that impact both government and industry stakeholders and (iii) excellent analytical thinking to translate user requirements into implementation and set metrics for project management.
What we are looking for
6 or more years’ working experience in managing or implementing large-scale ICT projects, preferably of an engineering/infrastructural nature across 1 product lifecycle, or related fields in product implementation and management.
Strong understanding in one or more domains: geomatics and ICT technology development, utility survey and mapping, infrastructure and utility sector management.
Experience in leading teams, project planning and execution, implementation roadmapping, and change management, are preferred.
Work with stakeholders to develop functional/technical specifications and acceptance criteria, ensure product readiness for smooth deployment and operations.
Professional certification in product management would be advantageous.
Prior working experience in agile methodologies, 3D geospatial data and database management, Proof-of-Concept and Proof-of-Value product implementation are preferred.
