What the role is

Assistant Manager, Land Management & Operation (Contract)

What you will be working on

You will be part of a dynamic team maintaining land under SLA’s purview. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing and attending to public feedback on land maintenance related matters.

  • Consulting and coordinating with various Government agencies on the proposals to use land managed by SLA.

  • Issuing Temporary Occupation Licence for the use of vacant land.

  • Liaising and coordinating with Licensees to ensure compliance to the terms and conditions of use.

  • Planning and conducting site inspections for the land under your charge to ensure proper maintenance and to prevent unauthorised use of the land.

  • Working closely with other Government agencies, contractors, and other service providers to ensure municipal issues are promptly attended to and resolved.

  • Administering land and maintenance policies and financial transaction matters.

  • Verifying land ownership, updating land records, data and other land related information.

  • Improving work processes through creative & innovative thinking

What we are looking for

  • A good team player who is meticulous, resourceful and a passion for service delivery.  

  • Strong analytical, data processing, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Tech savvy and ability to think out-of-the-box.

  • Having relevant technical background and/or experience in Facilities/ Estates/ Environmental Management would be advantageous.
