What the role is
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
What you will be working on
You will be working with the core lead on determining and conceptualising the scope for literature review, meta-analysis and evidence synthesis studies for the research core of scientific evaluation and translation. You will also work to supervise and to undertake these research studies, to maintain relevant collaborations across the agencies on these studies and to communicate the findings to the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
What we are looking for
Key Job Responsibilities:
Establish and lead research core of scientific evaluation and translation core
Work with relevant public health surveillance and national programmes in developing research projects
Supervise a team working on and work on literature reviews, meta-analyses and evidence syntheses
Ensure scientific evaluation and translation research core is able to respond rapidly to a nationally important outbreak
Recruit and train research associates
Conduct in-house research as well as collaborate in research that may involve external partners within Singapore
Job Requirements:
Minimally 5 years relevant experience in public health practice or research
Scientific expertise in literature reviews and/or meta-analysis for public health
Ability to build a core team
Ability to engage stakeholders
