What the role is

CNB Logistics Unit is primarily responsible for the management of estate, vehicle fleet and inventory to provide timely and effective maintenance of the Bureau’s facilities, vehicles and equipment which are critical elements for all CNB officers to effectively perform their drug enforcement and preventive education work in line with CNB’s vision and mission. The Job Holder reports directly to Manager Logistics. The Job Holder is expected to ensure that CNB Logistics Unit comply with the Government Instruction Manual and prevailing guidelines and policies, while supporting the Bureau’s operations.

What you will be working on

The main scope is to assist Manager Logistics in overseeing the logistics operations in the Bureau, namely: • Estate Management: Responsible for estate management which include conducting monthly ground inspection on CNB building and coordinating with Facilities Management Manager (FMM) and Term Contractors (TCs) to rectify reported defects and carry out repairs and minor works for CNB HQ. Responsible for office space optimisation planning and overseeing infrastructure-related work (including office renovation) at CNB. • Contract Management: Responsible for overseeing and managing building and infra-related contracts with our vendors. • Transformation of logistics functions: Transform and implement technology-enabled and data-driven logistics at CNB which include using data to identify opportunities for demand aggregation and value-for-money buy, data-based push down supply, and process automation through RPA.

What we are looking for

The Job Holder should: • Have a great passion in process re-engineering, robotic automation, and data analytics • Be IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel • Able to draw useful and actionable insights to conduct audit more efficiently and effectively and implement process transformation • Be meticulous and proficient with figures • Be able to multi-task and work under pressure • Be able to work independently and work well as a team leader and player • Be able to write and communicate effectively • Possess good interpersonal skills and able to engage and communicate with key stakeholders at all levels • Education background in building management will be preferred. • Experiences in public sector Building and Infrastructure Management will be preferred.
