In this role, you will be involved in the planning of infrastructure projects in NHB and see to their successful completion. [What you will be doing]
Co-manage the master-planning of NHB infrastructure projects
Drive the planning/initiation phase of the building project, including conducting feasibility study, benchmarking exercise, agencies/stakeholder engagements and budget proposal
Lead a cross-divisional/agency team on building project planning, design and construction works
Lead and manage the project launch and progress, including monitoring schedule and budget. Identify project risks, put in place early mitigation measures and controls
Manage the consultants and contractors, including tender procurement, contract administration and authority submissions
Engage and collaborate with internal/external project stakeholders and partners
Ensure the project management adheres with institutional framework and regulatory standards
Environmental scanning on latest building industry trends and best practices, as well as prevailing authority requirements
Support the division in strategic planning and driving divisional initiatives where necessary
[What we are looking for]
Preferably at least 8 - 10 years of working experience in project management field
Relevant working experience in architecture, engineering or project management firm office and/or public sector projects will be advantageous
Strong knowledge of contracts administration using PSSCOC and public sector governance. Familiarity with building codes and regulations on building standards.
Strong communication, analytical and engagement skills
Proven experience as a team lead
