What the role is

Research Executive (Full Stack Development with AI Integration) / School of Information & IT

What you will be working on

  • Develop both front-end and back-end applications for web and mobile applications.
  • Build interactive, responsive UIs using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Design server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions using Node.js, Express, or similar tech.
  • Develop and consume RESTful or GraphQL APIs, enabling smooth communication between the frontend and backend.
  • Design schemas and manage data using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Deploy and manage applications using platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3).
  • Use Git for source control and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployment.
  • Integrate AI/ML models and Generative AI models in the web or mobile application.
  • Ensure secure coding practices (e.g., authentication, authorisation, encryption, OWASP compliance).
  • Debug issues across the full stack.

What we are looking for

  • 2-3 years of experience in web application development.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Angular, JavaScript, Java, or Python
  • Knowledge of Gen AI models or AI/ML models
  • Proficient with cloud technologies, in particular Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud services
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
