The Communications & Engagement Cluster in the Public Service Division (PSD) is seeking an Events Executive to support the planning and execution of key whole-of-government (WOG) events. These events are important platforms for engaging public officers and stakeholders as part of leadership development and public sector transformation efforts.
As an Events Executive, you will work closely with internal teams, other government agencies, and external vendors to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events. You will play a hands-on role in supporting logistics, stakeholder management, and on-site operations.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of key WOG events such as conferences, roadshows, and milestone ceremonies.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of event logistics, including venue set-up, AV requirements, registration, catering, and other operational needs.
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly, from set-up to tear-down.
• Manage event-related documentation including timelines, checklists, contact lists, and post-event reports.
• Support procurement processes (e.g. sourcing, quotations, raising purchase orders) and contract management for event-related services.
• Track budgets and expenses to ensure alignment with allocated resources.
• Assist in post-event follow-up such as collating feedback and preparing reports.
What we are looking for
Requirements:
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage timelines effectively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and on-site during events.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with various stakeholders.
• Prior experience in event planning or project coordination is an advantage.
• Familiarity with public service protocols and procurement processes is a plus.
