The Accountant-General’s Department (AGD) plays an important role in making Singapore a better place through Finance. Our team of accounting professionals work at AGD and are deployed to the public agencies to deliver a wide range of financial and accounting-related services to the Public Service. Together we play a critical role in helping the Government achieve its fiscal and economic objectives through sound stewardship and governance.

Fi@Gov is the public sector’s one stop finance analytics platform and is used by more than 2,000 users across the Whole-of-Government (WOG). You will be responsible for driving the continued adoption and use of products (dashboards and reports) through an understanding of the value of the product and the context/domain in which the product is to be implemented. You will support • User engagement to increase use and proficiency with the Fi@Gov system, e.g. assist in creating user guides and training materials; • Data evangelism to foster enthusiasm for data-driven decision making, e.g. create collaterals that showcase success stories or BI insights; and • Business enablement to translate ideas into reality, e.g. support the development of department specific dashboards and reports.

Technical Skills: • Proficiency in basic office productivity tools, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus Soft Skills: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Keen attention to detail and analytical mindset • Proactive and self-motivated learner Attributes: • Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about data and its business applications • Creative problem-solving skills We are seeking final-year university students (in their 3rd/4th year) for an internship position starting July/August 2025. Suitable candidates should have a background in Accountancy, Business, Finance, Analytics, IT, Systems, or related disciplines.
