You will be joining a team of IT Infrastructure specialists taking a key role in IT Infrastructure. As part of the team, your main roles and responsibilities would include: • Develop and implement systems hosting strategy to meet security and systems compliance • Perform risk and vulnerability assessment, control reviews and improve hosting and systems controls, policies, processes and procedures • Oversee the day-to-day operation and support of IT Infrastructure services such as physical hosting services in data centre/ Government Commercial Cloud/ Government Commercial Cloud (Confidential), servers and network rooms, data storage backup and recovery systems. • Manage IT Infrastructure contractors by ensuring deliverables meet contractual requirement • Monitor performance of the IT Infrastructure and establish plans for necessary timely technology refresh and expansion needs. • Provide contract administration for IT Infrastructure services and maintenance contracts • Provide IT Infrastructure support to applications teams and IT projects • Provide and maintain central hosting services such as Active Directory, SFTP, SAN and SMTP

To meet the challenges of this role, you must possess the following: • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, preferably with 3 year of Cloud Hosting and Data Centre implementation experience • Knowledge of Government Instruction Manual on IT Management (IM8), AIAS, Green Book standards and compliance requirements, Singapore Government Technology Stack • Infrastructure knowledge on Government Data Centre, SG-Core, Government Network, WoG Central Services and Government Private Cloud Service • Good technical knowledge and experience with major private Technologies such as VMware vRealize, Microsoft Hyper-V, Redhat KVM, Software Defined Network etc Applicants are expected to: • Drive business process improvements and architect solutions on a wider range of complex business and technical issues • Work well under pressure and tight deadlines • Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies • Be results and customer oriented • Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders professionally • Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to and interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior management • Be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
