• Work with ACRA’s senior management to drive the strategic planning process, shaping organisational vision and goals.
• Develop corporate strategies to advance ACRA’s position as a global leader in fostering a vibrant and trusted business environment.
• Conduct environmental research and analysis of emerging trends, opportunities, and risks to shape ACRA’s policies, initiatives and plans.
• Monitor the operating environment and drive organisational excellence through identifying opportunities for organisation-wide improvements.
• Strengthen ACRA’s risk management framework by identifying potential threats, developing mitigating strategies, and designing appropriate controls.
• Track and analyse corporate performance metrics to measure the impact of ACRA’s corporate initiatives and identify gaps for improvement.
• Communicate strategic directions and key messages to staff.
• Provide secretariat support for key decision-making platforms, such as ACRA Board and senior management meetings.
• Assist management in coaching more junior officers.

What we are looking for
• Background in public policy, finance, accounting, or economics will be advantageous.
• 5 – 7 years of relevant working experience in strategic planning or policy work, preferably within a regulatory or public sector setting.
• Strong analytical ability with good writing and verbal communications skills.
• Positive and resilient individual who enjoys challenging work that is not limited to rigid scope.
• Resourceful and proactive to make things happen and get things done.
• Good time management to meet deadlines.
• Able to work both independently and as a team.
Competencies
• Good analytical skills (i.e. able to translate broad concepts into specific policies and sieve out key issues of relevance) and conceptual ability (e.g. able to synthesise a broad range of information into an integrated framework).
• Good writing and communication skills and quick to grasp and synthesise technical concepts to facilitate multi-disciplinary projects involving accounting, legal, operational and/or tech professionals.
• Ability to lead / guide cross-departmental teams to achieve intended targets.
• Competence in organisational development and project management will be an advantage.
