What the role is

You will be part of the Port and industry integration Planning team that formulates and implements the port-industry integration plan to fulfil the strategies set out under the Port Master Plan for Singapore’s Next Generation Port (NGP).

Degree in technical engineered with at least 5 years experiences in the planning and development of infrastructure including solar farms, substations, submarine cables and charging stations. Experiences in planning and development of large-scale submarine cables (electrical and communication cables) would be added advantages

What you will be working on

The key responsibilities include:

  • Planning of electrical substations and charging stations for electrical harbour crafts at public landing facilities and offshore islands/anchorages respectively.

  • Planning of energy storage systems for marine facilities  

  • Liaising with EMA and SPPG on works required for upgrading of substation

  • Planning of submarine energy cable in consideration of optimal routes and minimising energy loss

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Candidates with at least 5 years experiences in the planning and development of infrastructure including solar farms, substations, submarine cables and charging stations.

  • Experiences in planning and development of large-scale submarine cables (electrical and communication cables) would be an added advantage

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Details-oriented.
