Business Analyst in Rental Housing Department

The role focuses on improving rental housing backend processes and customer experience through digital transformation. Key responsibilities include: • Analysing business needs and optimising workflows through process automation and system enhancements • Conducting user research and usability testing to ensure solution effectiveness • Managing project timelines and implementation • Leveraging data analytics for operational insights, dashboard automation, and predictive studies • Supporting system revamp in collaboration with HDB IT Group to enhance services for rental families • Performing system administration duties for rental housing management system, including backend workflow management and HDB InfoWEB updates

You should have: 1. background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics or in a related discipline; 2. an understanding of data management, statistics, regression, data-mining and modelling techniques; 3. knowledge of how various data are gathered, stored, merged and retrieved, as well as a general understanding of how application systems work; 4. the ability to transform and interpret data accurately to generate necessary insights as well as present complex information in a simple manner that people can understand; 5. a keen interest to learn new skillsets like programming, data analytics and user experience-user interface (UX/UI) design digital technologies; 6. good team spirit, be task-oriented and focused on end results, have good communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work with all stakeholders. Some background in IT project management, experience with ETL (Extract, Transform and Load), data modelling, mining, statistics/data analysis and use of programming software like Python, R, SQL languages, SAS Visualiser etc will be an added advantage.
