What the role is

As a Cameraman in the Educational Technology Division, you will provide on-location video recording for the production of videos to support teaching and learning in schools, as well as training and corporate communications.

What you will be working on

• Perform location scouting with Producer and Soundman to assess the suitability of venues for video production • Make recommendations to Producer on camera angles, types of camera equipment and aesthetic lighting for the set • Set up and operate professional camera and lighting equipment and accessories for video recording • Perform role as a Camera Assistant, Gaffer or Grip when required • Carry out proper maintenance of all camera and related equipment used for video production to ensure they meet technical performance and requirements

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years of working experience as a Cameraman in the media industry • Ability to operate professional camcorders and mirrorless cameras • Ability to set up and operate professional lighting equipment including LED panels, Fresnel lights, and other industry-standard lighting gear • Strong understanding of current industry best practices, emerging camera technologies, and production techniques • An energetic and observant individual who is adaptable and able to work well with people from diverse backgrounds • Knowledge and skills in video-editing would be an advantage • Interested candidates may submit their showreel during application by including a weblink to the showreel in the Resume In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
