What the role is

You will be part of the Strategic Workforce Planning team under the HR Strategy and Development Department.

What you will be working on

You will work with various stakeholders in the following areas:

Workforce Planning & Development

  • Partner HR functions and business units in developing and implementing interventions to address manpower and competency gaps.

  • Support the implementation of career development programmes to support employee growth and retention in the organisation.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing career development programmes and recommend improvements where needed.

Capability & Leadership Development

  • Support the implementation of competency-based HR practices and systems.

  • Identity leadership development needs and curate targeted interventions to develop strong leaders. This involves competency modelling, development planning and learning effectiveness evaluation for NEA’s leaders.

  • Facilitate leadership development initiatives including 360° feedback survey exercises.

HR Analytics & Insights

  • Apply statistical methods and analytics to derive HR insights.

  • Enhance and maintain HR dashboard and reports to support decision-making of business units.

  • Review the effectiveness of the data collection processes and recommend enhancements to enhance data quality.

  • Other ad-hoc tasks/projects where needed.

What we are looking for

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:

  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.

  • Experience with HR analytics tools and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Qliksense) will be advantageous.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.

  • Able to work independently to complete projects with minimal supervision.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and be able to present complex information to different audiences.

  • Detail-oriented with strong process improvement mindset.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
