As a Legal Officer, your job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Advise PUB on its obligations, rights and liabilities under the law through the addressing and review of regulatory and administrative law risks.
• Advise PUB on the implementation of, reviews and amendments to the Acts and Regulations made thereunder so as to achieve policy objectives and close off gaps that frustrate policy.
• Advise PUB and its departments on their contractual arrangements so that optimal commercial results that are aligned with organisational objectives are obtained.
• Advise PUB on claims against PUB and on claims by PUB against third parties arising out of and in connection with PUB operations so as to achieve the best outcome for PUB.
What we are looking for
• Bachelor of Law Degree under the Legal Profession Act
• Admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor
• At least 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE)
• Meticulous and organised
