What the role is

The Protection Ops Tech team in the Prevention and Operations Planning Division support the Protective Service’s (PSV) ongoing transformation journey by implementing cutting-edge ops tech practices to enhance service delivery and efficiency. The team also aims to pioneer new approaches in service delivery by identifying digital or technological opportunities and experimenting with such solutions to create tangible benefits for colleagues and clients. In pursuit of these objectives, the team embraces an enterprising spirit and agile mindset, collaborating closely with other PSV operations teams, MSF departments, and external stakeholders to reimagine new ways of working and uncover actionable insights for PSV. We are seeking individuals with a strong passion for leveraging ops tech for social impact. As an Assistant Manager/Manager, you will play a pivotal role in exploring, ideating, prototyping, implementing and maintaining new ops-tech solutions to optimise processes and operations. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate insights clearly and persuasively.

What you will be working on

- Analyse operations and processes to identify improvement opportunities - Design, prototype and implement new ops tech solutions to optimise protection processes and operations. - Lead end-to-end implementation of ops tech initiatives from conceptualisation to deployment - Develop and maintain documentation for processes and systems - Monitor and maintain systems and implement improvements

What we are looking for

Competencies - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Strong analytical skills to problem-solve, ideate, design, prototype and implement ops tech solutions to improve business processes - Team player experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. - Experience with project management methodologies and process mapping - Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment - Keen interest in blending technological innovation with social impact to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities.
