ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute invites PhD scholarship applications for the following areas of study: Economics, History, Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, Anthropology, and other relevant social sciences subjects Terms of Awards: The scholarship is tenable at reputable universities overseas or in Singapore - Tuition and other compulsory fees - Monthly maintenance allowance - Conference/Fieldwork allowance - Medical insurance - Return air passage (if applicable) - Preliminary expenses Successful candidates will serve a five-year bond with ISEAS following the completion of their studies

Eligibility Candidates should: (a) Be Singapore citizens; (b) Have consistently good academic records; and (c) Be prepared to carry out applied and policy-related research on Southeast Asia (d) Preference will be given to candidates who have already been accepted for admission into reputable universities. Requirements Interested applicants must submit: i) a cover letter, ii) full CV, iii) sample of academic writing, iv) three letters of reference, v) educational certificates and transcripts, vi) a research proposal including a statement on why it is important to ISEAS, and, vii) a passport-sized photograph. PLEASE NOTE: All required application documents are to be uploaded in the 'Resume/Cover Letter' section. This is the only available upload section in the application process.
