The Transformation Office aims to build an agile, capable, data-driven and youth-centric NYC, powered by passionate and purposeful people. We work across teams, functions, and disciplines to strategise, design, testbed, drive and support digital transformation in NYC.
As Assistant Director, you will lead a team to develop and implement an NYC-wide digital engagement strategy and plan, across various NYC touchpoints, programmes and initiatives, to acquire new youths into our database, and to effectively acquire and re-engage them. You will transform youth engagement by addressing the specific needs of youths at various life stages from ages 15 to 35 and will lead a newly set-up composite team to create integrated and personalised experiences for youths to navigate critical transitions effectively.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will lead the development and implementation of the project roadmap, coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor project progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the project team.
To do so, your key responsibilities include:
1. Developing an NYC-wide digital marketing and engagement strategy, which will guide the content strategies for various NYC touchpoints (e.g. DISCOVER, emails and social channels) and the channel strategy to drive awareness and acquisition. The strategy will also include an implementation roadmap with clear milestones and timelines.
2. Developing and implementing agency-wide customer experience strategy, which will include mapping the experience of the youth post programme to encourage participation in other programmes organised by NYC and its partners.
3. Coordinating cross-functional teams for seamless collaboration and communication.
4. Monitoring the progress of the project and addressing challenges or risks.
5. Providing regular updates to stakeholders for transparency and accountability.
6. Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
7. Guide and monitor the implementation of consistent content strategy across NYC touchpoints.
What we are looking for
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, with 3-5 supervisory experience
• Proven leadership skills
• Strategic thinking
• Mindset of continuous innovation and improvement
• Project management experience
• Good understanding and experience in developing and implementing digital marketing and engagement initiatives
