We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day IT operations and lead multiple technical teams. This role reports directly to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of IT services across the organisation.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Key areas of responsibilities include:
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams including applications engineers, infrastructure engineers, desktop support staff, and office administration personnel, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management to ensure team effectiveness and professional growth.
• Oversee all Business-As-Usual (BAU) IT operations, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications, infrastructure, and desktop support services whilst maintaining operational excellence in service delivery.
• Develop and implement IT operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise system performance and enhance service quality across all technical domains.
• Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality, implementing best practices and industry standards across IT operations.
• Implement and oversee robust system monitoring frameworks, leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimise system performance and efficiency.
• Lead incident management processes, including coordinating response teams, managing escalations, and ensuring timely resolution of critical issues while maintaining service level agreements.
• Monitor and report on all SLAs, taking proactive measures to address potential breaches and maintain service quality standards.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Strong track record in managing enterprise-wide IT operations.
• ITIL certification preferred.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end development processes and technical architecture.

• Strong technical background with comprehensive understanding of system architecture and development lifecycle.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with demonstrated experience in managing diverse technical teams.

• Strong understanding of IT service management principles and best practices.
