The Civic District Co-Location Project (CDCP) is a new mixed-use development at Hill Street for public agencies. The Assistant Director / Senior Manager, CDCP Office will be part of a team to manage building requirements from the agencies housed in the development.
You will need to work with these public agencies, stakeholders, consultants and contractors to plan and manage the spatial requirements. You will be involved in the whole project work cycle from project planning, budgeting, tender calling, supervising a team of consultants and contractors and managing the project expenditures. You will be part of the team to plan, review and ensure that the project is on track in terms of budget and timeline.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be expected to work closely with relevant government agencies, stakeholders, external consultants and vendors for the project planning and execution.
As part of the team, you will also assist in stakeholder communications, seek budget funding, procure services, establish cost-sharing mechanisms between agencies, attend site meetings, handle building defects post-construction, move-in/relocation and asset capitalisation.
You should have strong stakeholder engagement skills, write well and understand operational needs.
• Support secretariat duties for inter-agency meetings
• Liaise with multiple agencies, project teams, stakeholders and consultants
• Project tracking and vendor management
• Prepare written materials for internal progress updates
• Coordinate replies to media and public queries relating to project
• Knowledge management and archiving of past project information
What we are looking for
• Background preferably with experience in the area of building development projects and facilities management.
• Background in Architecture, Civil and Structural, Mechanical and Electrical, Quantity Surveying or Contract Management would be advantageous.
• At least 5 years’ experience and supervisory experience in engineering project development or related position in the government and construction sector
• Knowledge of construction industry practices and management processes, data centre standards, relevant rules, regulations and quality standards related to building IT and communication systems implementation
• Ability to grasp and communicate concepts and good report writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and influence stakeholders
• Willingness to learn and take on a diverse range of work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work with diverse range of people.
