What the role is

Under the Prime Minister's Office, the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) is the government department responsible for the investigation and prevention of corruption in Singapore. It ensures that zero tolerance towards corruption is maintained, and Singapore remains corruption-free. CPIB welcomes motivated individuals who are willing to play the important role of providing administrative and operational services in supporting the Bureau's needs and its mission.

What you will be working on

You will be part of the team of officers in CPIB’s People Management & Development (PMD) Division that oversees the full spectrum of human capital strategies and initiatives such as workforce planning, recruitment, training and development, performance management, rewards and recognition, employee engagement, staff well-being and personnel administration etc. As an Executive / Senior Executive / Manager (Workforce Strategy & Development), you will handle a spectrum of HR activities and processes which include (but not limited to): • [Recruitment] Review and implement talent acquisition strategies to align with the organisation’s strategy such as competency-based hiring and partnering with line managers to execute recruitment plans to ensure positions are successfully filled. This includes the end-to-end recruitment operations such as preparing competency-based job advertisement, shortlisting applicants, conducting interviews/assessments, handling appointments, and advising hiring managers on the principles of fair and objective selection practices. • [Employer Branding] Partner internal and external stakeholders to strengthen outreach efforts related to employer branding such as managing CPIB career ambassadors, participating in career fairs and communicating the employee value proposition to prospective and selected candidates. • [HR Business Partnership] Provide advice to line managers and staff on HR guidelines and procedures. This includes partnering new hires to support their transition to work in CPIB, such as onboarding briefing, buddy and mentor arrangement and addressing concerns and queries from the new hires. • Any other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

Requirements If you meet the following pre-requisites and can identify with our mission, join us now! • [HR Competency] Have at least 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in the Public Sector; • [Working Effectively with Stakeholders] Good written and verbal communication skills.
