What the role is
What you will be working on
• Establish and review procurement and administration strategies, procedures and processes for FM and construction contracts, including integrated facilities management (IFM) contracts
• Provide procurement and contractual advice on FM matters, addition and alteration (A&A) matters, construction tenders or contracts, including reviewing the tender or quotation specifications to ensure that the Ministry’s requirements and needs are met
• Manage and coordinate procurement-related work, including preparing tender specifications, budgeting, calling for tenders or quotations, evaluating tender proposals, putting up tender award recommendations for approval and preparing contract documents for awarded tenders
• Prepare and administer Variation Orders, including valuation of Superintending Officer’s Instruction (SOI)
• Oversee FM operations including budget utilisation and cost control monitoring, budget and cost analysis, FM maintenance deliverables audits, and acquisition of external services
What we are looking for
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in the areas of Quantity Surveying and FM contracts management
• Good knowledge and understanding of the building industry and regulations, conditions of contract, bill of quantities and cost estimation
• A proactive and effective team player with strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, analytical and project management skills
