The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) was established on 2 February 1996, with the mission to develop Singapore as a premier global hub port and international maritime centre (IMC), and to advance and safeguard Singapore's strategic maritime interests. MPA is the driving force behind Singapore's port and maritime development, taking on the roles of Port Authority, Port Regulator, Port Planner, IMC Champion, and National Maritime Representative.
You will be part of MPA’s Strategy & Policy function which helps to drive MPA’s medium to long term direction to achieve Maritime Singapore’s vision as the world’s leading maritime hub. As a member of the Hub Strategy team, you will shape maritime strategies through the application of economics thinking, conducting of economic analysis, and forecasting of market trends. As part of this portfolio, you will also have the opportunity to be exposed to a diverse range of issues, as well as work on both qualitative and quantitative research projects to analyse strategic issues and facilitate management’s decision-making.
