As an Engineer / Senior Engineer (Instrumentation & Control) (Johor River Waterworks), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Lead a team of technical officers and technicians to provide maintenance of the plant equipment and systems complying with the O&M procedures • Work with Operations team to attend to equipment failure promptly to carry out investigation and corrective action to ensure speedy restoration of normal water production; Prepare and track all defects, expedite its corrective action and closure • Manage and attend to troubleshooting breakdown maintenance, including after office hours • Keep proper records of all maintenance records • Prepare maintenance and calibration schedule for ICA equipment and perform scheduled maintenance and calibration promptly • Develop, implement and update Standard Operating Procedures for maintenance and calibration of all instruments and analysers • Prepare a spare parts and consumables list for all ICA equipment and procure these items timely to support preventive maintenance • Provide training to all maintenance technicians to ensure all staff understand clearly their duty and work and in compliance with procedure, environment, health and safety requirement • Carry out sourcing, request for quotations, evaluate and recommend procurement of ICA equipment and works • Prepare tender documents, evaluate proposals and put up recommendations for the procurement of ICA works and projects. • Administer contracts for the maintenance and replacement of ICA equipment • Scan and assess new technologies for implementation in the plant to enhance reliability and improve productivity

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) with at least 2 years experiences in process control and automation • Possess good experience with the design, installation, testing and commissioning and maintenance aspects of ICA equipment • Have experience in I&C equipment such as instrumentation & controls, PLC, SCADA etc • Be able to read engineering drawings, P&ID, computer literate and familiar with PLC’s programmes and its software • Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills • Be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment • Hands on Cybersecurity knowledge and practice will be an advantage Work Location The successful candidate will be based in Johor (Kota Tinggi).
