IMDA’s vision is to build a dynamic digital economy, and a cohesive digital society, driven by an exceptional Infocomm and Media ecosystem.
In line with Singapore’s social compact, IMDA seeks to help citizens thrive in the digital age and engage in activities online in a safe, inclusive and empowering way. IMDA works actively with the public, people and private sectors (3P) to Dream, Design and Deliver so as to build an inclusive digital society in Singapore. This way, no citizen will be left behind and we can move forward as one nation.
The Digital Readiness Cluster in IMDA drives digital inclusion efforts as we prepare all Singaporeans for the digital future. The Digital Readiness Cluster oversees Digital Access, Digital Literacy and Wellness programmes, as well as outreach and partnership programmes such as SG Digital Office and the Digital for Life movement. The Strategy and Planning team takes a strategic view in mapping out digital readiness priorities and works together with divisions to (i) conduct research for new areas of work, (ii) evaluate existing programmes, and (iii) support governance measures. The team also supports international initiatives in raising awareness of Singapore’s digital inclusion efforts.
