What the role is
What you will be working on
• Lead the Security contractors engaged by NParks
• Manage and respond to incidents within the garden
• Implement preventive maintenance regime and corrective works for facilities and fixed assets
• Plan and implement periodic maintenance and replacement of on-site property and amenities
• Check, verify and update GIS data on site
• Conduct Table-Top and Ground Deployment Exercises with SPF and SCDF to ensure prompt emergency and evacuation responses
• Develop a new visitor services and security contract
Apart from these, you will be involved in a diverse range of activities, including programming and events, park surveys, trialling sustainable technologies, as well as various landscaping and biodiversity enhancement projects.
What we are looking for
• Areas of study in estate, facilities management and related disciplines
• Prior work experience in Security, Emergency Preparedness and Manpower deployment is beneficial
• Experience in GIS data management, digitalisation and understanding of GIS concepts is preferred
• Enjoy working outdoors, doing field work and interacting with people
• Able to multi-task in performing a diverse range of duties, including enforcement when required
• Possess good interpersonal and writing skills to connect with various stakeholders
• Willing to work after office hours, during weekends and public holidays.
The successful candidate will be placed on contract until 31 Dec 2027. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
